UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Opening Ceremony

The motto “Reaching New Heights Together” set the tone for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 Opening Ceremony—celebrating team spirit, diversity, unity, and the triumph of women’s football on its biggest stage.

Held at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, the show paid tribute to Switzerland’s clockmaking heritage and the timeless beauty of the Swiss Alps. Against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks, 170 performers and volunteers recreated the flowing contours of the mountains in a breathtaking visual tribute to the host nation.

With powerful performances by Beatrice Egli and Astrid S, the national anthems of Switzerland and Norway came to life on stage.

This one-of-a-kind ceremony was led by an all-female cast—whose vision, artistry, and leadership delivered a show with the flawless precision and passion of true Swiss craftsmanship.
