— The most important sicilian archaeological sites hosted the latest edition of Dolce & Gabbana’s haute couture.
Four days of events dedicated to 400 hundred selected guests of the Maison.
The first appointment was dedicated to Alta Gioielleria, which took place in Palma di Montechiaro. For the occasion, the steps of la Chiesa Madre were dressed with the traditional floral decorations. The exhibition was followed by an exclusive dinner at Palazzo Ducale.
The following day the haute couture show took place in la Valle dei Templi for the first time in history. The guests, in the warm light of a summer sunset, had the privilege to see more than 150 models walkthrough the majestic runaway positioned inside and along the slope of the Tempio della Concordia. At the end of the show, they were welcomed at the Tempio di Giunone for the gala dinner, where a tribute to the Sicilian culinary traditions has been served in a unique location.
Men’s tailoring collection was in the spotlight of the last appointment held in Sciacca. Scenes reproducing hellenistic atmosphere with sculptures 5 meters height were the backdrop for the show, followed by a dinner in Piazza Scandaliato. At the end of these extraordinary events, a final party was held at the Verdura Resort in Piazzetta La Torre, to celebrate four memorable days, 100% Made in Sicily.
