Balich Wonder Studio, in collaboration with Disney Music Group, are producing a new live entertainment format to premiere in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November this year.
In this unique live event experience, guests will explore immersive musical worlds, witness spellbinding live performances, and celebrate their favourite Disney movies at a family festival where music comes ALIVE!

We are recruiting for positions in the operations team, who will join the creation of this special project and operate its first ever run in Riyadh from November to February. Future international dates and markets are likely to follow.
Candidates with international experience as well as large-scale theatre/ touring/ resident show experience are encouraged to apply.
All travel, accommodation, immigration, logistics and an onsite per diem will be provided by the BWS. BWS has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2018 and has permanent office in Riyadh who have now produced over 100 large-scale events across the country.
Balich Wonder Studio is an integrated live entertainment group, based in Milan Italy. We are world leaders in the creation, design, production and operations of innovative live entertainment experiences.
Our robust creation and production methodology has been built from decades of experience delivering olympic ceremonies, viewed by billions of spectators across the globe. Previous major ceremonies projects include FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony (Doha 2022), Riyadh Season Opening (2021), Lima Pan American Games (2019), Rio Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies (2016). Since 2019, the Destination Experiences unit of Balich Wonder Studio has been developing and producing immersive experiences, permanent entertainment, icons, and live shows for developers and partners around the world.
ROLE – STAGE MANAGERS / ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS
Seeking experienced stage managers/ assistant stage managers to create and operate an ambitious and new format of live entertainment.
The stage management team will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and running the onsite artistic operations – including the immersive world experiences, live performances (concerts and musical scenes) and pop-up performances around the site.
Candidates should have large-scale theatrical and/ or touring experience. Previous experience of immersive theatre projects and working internationally is also desirable.
November 1/2023 to February 15/2024.
ROLE – HEAD OF LIGHTING & VIDEO
Seeking a motivated and experienced technical head of department to oversee the project’s Lighting and Video operations. The role requires an HOD who is interested in creating new type of entertainment experiences and is flexible and inventive in their problem-solving and technical approach.
The HOD will be responsible for supervising vendors and local crew, team scheduling, liaising with suppliers and other technical departments, and ensuring the creative quality remains impeccable throughout the run including hands-on maintenance, adjustments and troubleshooting of any technical issues.
Candidates should have large-scale theatrical, touring and/ or large-scale event and festival experience. Previous experience of working internationally is also desirable.
October 15th 2023 to February 25th 2024.
ROLE – HEAD OF AUDIO/ SOUND NO. 1
Seeking a motivated and experienced technical head of department to oversee the project’s Audio/ Sound operations. The role requires an HOD who is interested in creating new type of entertainment experience and is flexible and inventive in their problem-solving and technical approach.
The HOD will be responsible for supervising vendors and local crew, scheduling the team, liaising with suppliers and other technical departments, and maintaining the creative quality of the project’s audio and sound. The role will also include mixing live concerts on the site – previous Sound/ Audio No.1 experience on musical theatre or concerts is essential. Additionally experience of working with show control systems is an advantage.
Candidates should have large-scale theatrical, touring and/ or large-scale event experience. Previous experience of working internationally is also highly desirable.
October 15th 2023 to February 25th 2024.
ROLE – HEAD OF CARPENTRY & PROPS
Seeking a motivated and experienced head of department to oversee the projects’ scenic, props and temporary structure/ venue operations and maintenance.
The site includes temporary venues and structures that host immersive experiences and performances, as well as large scenic installations and a main stage for live concert performances. The HOD will be responsible for supervising vendors and local crew, liaising with suppliers and other technical departments, and ensuring the creative quality remains impeccable throughout the run including hands-on maintenance, adjustments, and repairs.
Candidates should have large-scale theatrical or music/ event touring experience. Previous experience of working internationally is also highly desirable.
ROLE – TECHNICAL SWING/ ASSISTANT
Seeking a versatile and flexible all-rounder to work across the project’s technical departments supporting different duties in lighting/ video, audio, and stage management.
The role will include supporting the technical teams in daily checks, maintenance, upkeep, and rehearsal as well as covering a range of different show roles and duties.
Candidates with specific experience in either Audio/ Sound or Video but with an interest and good base of technical skills in other disciplines would be ideal.
Candidates should have large-scale theatrical or music/ event touring experience. Previous experience of working internationally is also desirable.
