Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Grand Opening

The inauguration of a themed park through a compelling visual and immersive experience

HQ Worldwide Shows were privileged to produce the Grand Opening of Warner Bros. World TM Abu Dhabi, the world’s first ever Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park. Our team designed two events: one for 200 Royal and VIP guests and a second event, the following day, which was attended by 2,500 invited guests, stakeholders and their families.
HQWS’ scope included everything from a three-dimensional pop-up invitation, prop design and build, the creation of the opening show and on-going show content. We also worked with talented team Devin Super Tramp to storyboard and produce a social media film featuring world-renowned Parkour athletes alongside the Warner Bros. Animation Characters and DC Super Heroes. After a 25min opening showcase in the Main Plaza, guests were transported to six immersive lands, including Warner Bros. Plaza, DC Entertainment’s Metropolis and Gotham City, as well as Warner Bros. Animation’s Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, and Dynamite Gulch.
